🇺🇸🪖💰 The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has presented the budget proposal for the upcoming fiscal year — Congress has been requested to allocate $1.01 trillion for defense.
Compared to the current fiscal year ($892.3 billion), military spending will increase by 13%. Additionally, Donald Trump would like to increase spending for the Department of Homeland Security by 65%, to $175 billion.
Funding for domestic civilian expenditures is planned to be cut by 22.6%.
