Scientists have started to obtain gold from lead at the Large Hadron Collider. During experiments with lead nuclei, the formation of 86 billion atoms of gold was recorded. This achievement brought researchers closer to the dream of alchemists — the transmutation of elements and the creation of the philosopher's stone.
