Nebraska is leading a legislative trend in advocating for Bitcoin rights, with support from Dennis Porter, who actively advocated for this groundbreaking bill.

In a major step toward protecting the rights of Bitcoin users, Nebraska has introduced a groundbreaking bill that champions the freedom to self-custody, mine, and run nodes. The move comes on the heels of a similar move in Missouri, highlighting growing momentum among U.S. states in supporting Bitcoin enthusiasts.

Notably, Dennis Porter, CEO and co-founder of the Satoshi Action Fund, shared insights on the bill’s key provisions and called on the public to support the process of ensuring it becomes law.

Nebraska’s Positive Stance on Bitcoin Rights

Nebraska has become a flag bearer for Bitcoin enthusiasts with a new bill that aims to solidify basic Bitcoin rights. The legislation, similar to a recent move by Missouri, aims to safeguard users’ freedoms, including the right to self-custody Bitcoin, mine it, and run a node.

Meanwhile, the bill’s sponsor, Senator Bostal, put Nebraska on a key footing in supporting Bitcoin participation. On the other hand, Dennis Porter, CEO and co-founder of the Satoshi Action Fund, elaborated on the importance of the bill, outlining its protections.

Notably, the proposal seeks to ensure the right to self-custody Bitcoin, eliminate discrimination against Bitcoin miners, safeguard the sovereign ability to run nodes, and eliminate state capital gains taxes on Bitcoin transactions below $200. In addition, Porter emphasized the role of the bill in preventing harmful crypto regulations that could hinder future Bitcoin innovation.

Call for Bitcoin Advocate Volunteers

The push for Bitcoin rights in Nebraska is not stopping there. For example, Dennis Porter of the Satoshi Action Fund plans to introduce 13 bills in various states in 2024.

The move has attracted widespread attention from social media users, with Porter encouraging volunteers to sign up to provide written or oral testimony and participate directly in the legislative process.

According to Porter, by joining this historic movement, individuals are not only contributing to defending their Bitcoin rights, but also making a broader contribution to the acceptance and protection of Bitcoin throughout the United States. At the same time, he urged participants to quickly sign up and share the opportunity to play a role in the development of Bitcoin. #比特币法案  #权利
