#EUPrivacyCoinBan The European Union has officially adopted the AMLR, prohibiting anonymous wallets and privacy coins such as $XMR, $ZEC, $DASH. Starting in 2027, transactions over €1000 will require identity verification.
In my opinion, this is not just an AML rule. It is the beginning of a major shift towards global regulation: all transactions will be tracked, monitored, and restricted.
As a trader, I understand the importance of regulation to prevent crime. But I also believe: privacy is a right, not a threat.
This privacy narrative could lead to a new wave of projects that combine privacy + compliance. And we must be ready to seize the opportunities in this direction.
