How to receive airdrops safely and not fall victim to scammers

Airdrops are a great way to get free tokens for community activity or interaction with a project. But where there are airdrops, there are also scammers. Here are some tips on how to stay safe:

1. Check the source. Airdrops should only be conducted through the official channels of the project — website, Twitter, Discord, Telegram. Do not click on suspicious links from DMs.

2. Never give your seed phrase. NOBODY from legitimate airdrops will ask for your seed or private key. If they ask — they are scammers.

3. Use a separate wallet. Open a separate address specifically for airdrop activities. This will reduce the risk of losing your main assets.

4. Do not sign suspicious transactions. Before signing, check what exactly you are signing. If you see "SetApprovalForAll" — be especially careful.

5. Protect yourself from malicious drops. Sometimes malicious tokens simply appear in your wallet. Do not interact with them — it’s a trap.

Airdrop can be a cool bonus, but your safety is paramount. Stay vigilant and DYOR (do your own research)!
