Pakistan Appoints Former Binance CEO CZ as Crypto Adviser, Stirring Reaction in India

Pakistan has appointed Changpeng Zhao (CZ), former Binance CEO, as a strategic adviser to its Crypto Council (PCC), a move hailed by officials as a bold step toward Web3 innovation. Confirmed by the Ministry of Finance, CZ will assist in shaping crypto regulation, infrastructure, and education in collaboration with the State Bank and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb called the appointment a "landmark moment," signaling Pakistan’s openness to digital innovation.
