Current Role: Active Farmer & Contributor

Focus: Honest observations and lessons from within the system

I began farming on Autonomys in late January out of curiosity more than anything else. I’ve explored plenty of DeFi and social mining platforms before, but Autonomys stood out as something a bit different—more structured, more transparent, and more effort-based.

What Stood Out to Me

1. The Work Is Public & Verifiable

Every action gets logged on-chain. You’re not just completing tasks—you’re contributing to a growing reputation system. That alone changed how I approached farming.

2. Diversity of Contributions

It’s not just staking or engagement farming. I’ve submitted designs, written posts, and participated in feedback loops. The system rewards a wide skill set, not just capital.

3. You Actually Feel Accountable

With transparency comes responsibility. You can’t really game the system easily. You either contribute meaningfully or you don’t get traction. That can be tough—but fair.

Where It Can Improve

- The UI/UX can be intimidating for first-timers. Some onboarding guides would go a long way.

- Contribution scoring isn’t always immediate. This delays learning or adapting to improve quality.

- A clearer roadmap on how reputation scales. I know it’s on-chain, but a visual explanation would help newer farmers understand the bigger picture.

Final Thoughts

This isn’t a plug-and-play DeFi protocol. It’s a system built for consistent effort. If you’re looking for shortcuts, it won’t be the right fit. But if you’re into building something over time, it might actually be worth your attention.
