Regarding short selling, what I want to say is.

You buy at 1 dollar and it rises to 4 dollars. You made 3 dollars.

To make 3 dollars short selling, you need to take 4 dollars and wait for it to drop to 1 dollar.

Which has lower risk?

If everyone is taking 4 dollars and wants to make 3 dollars.

I take 4 dollars, buy a coin at 1 dollar, it rises to 1.75 = make 3 dollars.

I take 4 dollars, sell a coin at 4 dollars, it has to drop to 1 dollar = make 3 dollars.

Shouldn't you be able to feel the obvious difference in expected value?

1. The upward pressure comes from those who were previously trapped and want to take profits.

2. Downward movement essentially has holders for all currencies, and most people hold for the long term, so a significant short-term correction is not easy. You can refer to the daily 20 MA or various levels of MA; once it doesn't break, that price is the consensus bottom for everyone.

I don't think short selling can't make money; I want to try it too. I just think the difficulty is higher than going long.
