Arizona is ready to collect Sats, but the governor threatens to veto a pair of bills that would make it possible.
This month, legislators in the Grand Canyon State have moved toward approving two digital asset proposals: one that establishes a Bitcoin reserve using seized funds, and the other allowing state investment of up to 10% in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
This places Arizona on the brink of becoming the first US state to permit the accumulation of Bitcoin in the state treasury.
However, Governor Katie Hobbs, a Democrat, is not messing around.
