#AirdropSafetyGuide Airdrop Scams Are Everywhere — Here’s How I Stay Safe
#AirdropSafetyGuide
Airdrops are great, but scammers love them too. Here’s my personal safety checklist before joining any airdrop:
1. Never Share Private Keys or Seed Phrases
Real projects never ask for these. If they do — it’s 100% a scam.
2. Avoid Connecting Wallets to Unverified Sites
I double-check URLs and only connect to sites shared via official channels.
3. Use a Dedicated Airdrop Wallet
I created a fresh wallet just for airdrops to separate funds from my main one.
4. Beware of Fake Social Accounts
Scammers copy logos and names. I always cross-check with project websites or CoinMarketCap listings.
5. Watch for Suspicious Promises
If it offers big rewards for little effort or has unclear instructions — skip it.
Bonus tip: Never rush. Most scams catch people who act on FOMO.
Stay sharp and only trust verified info. Airdrops should earn you tokens — not cost you them!
