Trump: Lowering tariffs leads to a decrease in income tax

U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Sunday that when tariffs are lowered, the income taxes for many will significantly decrease, and may possibly be completely eliminated.

He continued in a post on the Truth Social platform that the focus will be on those earning less than $200,000 annually.

The U.S. president added, "As a huge number of jobs are already being created, new factories are being built or planned. This will be a golden opportunity for America! The foreign tax office is in the works.

Trump called on the Republican members of Congress to prepare a bill that includes significant tax cuts.

On another note, Trump revealed that the latest report on illegal immigration shows a decrease of about 99.9% at the U.S. border.

He said this is the best recorded number ever. Three people entered, compared to hundreds of thousands in the previous administration. We have not seen such a difference before. Congratulations to America.

As part of efforts to avoid increases in tariffs, the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump has put in place a framework for managing negotiations with trade partners who are rushing to strike deals.

Accordingly, a standardized model will be used to address common concerns to initiate dialogue, among the areas proposed: tariffs, non-tariff barriers, digital trade, economic security, and business interests.
