On April 30th, Ho Chi Minh City will hold a parade to commemorate the Day of Great Victory, currently the streets are filled with red flags. The bear is learning about history and sharing it with everyone:

The national flag of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (also known as the "Red Flag with Yellow Star" or "Flag of the Fatherland"), originally the national flag of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, was born and appeared for the first time in 1940, and then officially became the national flag of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in September 1945.

After the Vietnam War ended and the two regions were united, the Red Flag with Yellow Star continued to be the national flag of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam through the First Session of the National Assembly of Vietnam, term VI.

The design of the flag is rectangular, with a width of ⅔ of its length, a red background, and a large five-pointed yellow star in the center.

The meaning of the flag with a red background symbolizes the color of the revolution, the blood of heroes, the yellow star represents the soul of the nation, and the five points of the star symbolize the five classes participating in the revolution: intellectuals, farmers, workers, merchants, and soldiers united in resistance.

The poem "CAN'T SLEEP" by Uncle Ho dreams of the image of the national flag. . . .

(Journal in Prison - Ho Chi Minh (1890-1969))

"One watch ... two watches ... then three watches

Tossing and turning, worried about restless sleep

At the fourth and fifth watches, just dozing off

The five-pointed yellow star dreams around"
