Recently, ETHOS has exploded in popularity. It is said to be even more powerful than Kaito in the future, but the invitation code is really hard to find! No one around me has it, so I had to check the invitation directory on the official website to see which user still has remaining invitation codes in the 'Invites available'. Then I nervously clicked into their Twitter and privately messaged to ask for a code. I asked many people but got no response. Just when I was on the verge of despair, a kind foreign big shot 0xWorkhorse finally replied to me and invited me, allowing me to get on board.
After getting on the bus, I was still confused about how to play. Luckily, I met @泵泵超人 who taught me the basic gameplay, which is to invite everyone to my introduction page https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/uniswap12
Once you enter, click on the Review and Vouch in the image below. Review is to write evaluations about me, and then see who has evaluated you, and also evaluate them, so both parties will gain XP points. As for Vouch, it is to stake ETH as mutual guarantees, which involves funds, so if you don't have money, you can skip it. Just mutual evaluations through Review are fine. Everyone is welcome to evaluate, and I will definitely respond to evaluations I see.

It is said that there are two more methods to obtain an invitation code. One is to go to #ETHOS 's DC to get it. Another way is to ask people associated with Tako for it, as they have just officially announced a partnership with Ethos.
After getting the code, go to the Google Store and download an Ethos plugin. This way, you can intuitively see the Ethos rating displayed by each blogger on Twitter and platforms like Kaito.
Then I found a few bosses who wrote about Ethos content and learned from them. They wrote really well and very professionally. I just started exploring, and there are many deeper things I haven't thought through clearly. Those who want to participate more deeply can go to the Twitter of the aforementioned bosses to study.
However, I also want to talk about my understanding.
In simple terms, Ethos is a blockchain-based reputation system. It does not look at just traffic, likes, or retweets like traditional social media, but attempts to use AI and on-chain data to label KOLs, content creators, and even ordinary users with a deeper 'reputation tag' and quantifiable 'reputation value'.
Recently, I have also been participating in Kaito. Before understanding Ethos, I thought Ethos was a project similar to Kaito. But after researching and comparing, I found that the two are actually quite different.
Kaito uses a 'Yap-to-Earn' model, analyzing the quality and interaction of tweets via AI, giving users Yap points, which are linked to airdrops. Kaito's logic is very simple: the more good content you post, the more smart accounts you attract, the higher your points.
But Kaito also has its weaknesses. Although Kaito's scoring system is fair, it is easy for volume players to exploit loopholes. For instance, when a project is hot, Twitter will be flooded with that project, resulting in homogenous content or mutual promotion, which sometimes makes Kaito's leaderboard seem more like a marketing game rather than a true measure of content value.
Ethos is another model, a reputation system mechanism - assessing the reputation of users or accounts through peer-to-peer evaluations, staking, and penalty mechanisms.
Ethos may analyze whether your content is truly valuable and whether it is reliable in the long term. This depth of evaluation can theoretically allow genuinely valuable content creators to stand out rather than being drowned out by the 'traffic is king' rule.
In comparison, Ethos focuses more on intrinsic quality rather than just looking at follower counts or popularity. This contrasts sharply with Kaito's 'outward' strategy, which mainly quantifies KOL traffic and influence.
Although the dimensions of the two are different, they are actually complementary. One manages traffic, while the other manages reputation.
Kaito's rating relies on AI algorithms, data-driven, objective but may feel cold; Ethos's rating relies on reputation evaluation, subjective but more 'human'. The combination of the two can truly define value.
Currently, Ethos is still in its early stages and requires an invitation code to participate deeply. Content creators can use the method I recommended above to get invitation codes.
I just got started today, so I'll write this much. Once I get the hang of it, I will share more with everyone!
