My Take On The Future Of Mantar's #Om

OM, the token from the Mantra project, recently took a huge hit—crashing by about 90%. That’s made a lot of people nervous, especially beginners in crypto. The drop seems to have happened because of some serious issues, like a flawed token setup, too much power held by a few, and even some rumors of market manipulation.

To try and fix the situation, the team behind OM burned 300 million tokens, which is about 16.5% of the total supply. Burning tokens means removing them forever, which can make the remaining ones more valuable. This did create some buzz and a short-term rise in trading, but it hasn’t made a big difference in price—OM is still stuck around the $0.52 mark.

At the same time, a big investor (a “whale”) moved a large chunk of OM tokens to Binance, which usually signals that they’re about to sell. That kind of move can drive the price down even further and hurt confidence more.

So even though the team is trying to take action, it’s still unclear whether OM will recover. Right now, it’s smart for new investors to be cautious and watch how things play out before jumping in.
