Binance has just announced that on May 2, 2025 at 03:00 UTC it will remove all spot trading pairs for Alpaca Finance (ALPACA), PlayDapp (PDA), Viberate (VIB) and Wing Finance (WING). Any open orders will be automatically canceled at the cutoff, and Binance’s spot trading bots for these tokens will be disabled, so you’ll want to cancel or adjust any active bots before then. Support across other products—including Margin, Futures, Loans, Simple Earn, Pay, Convert and Dual Investment—will be phased out in the days leading up to delisting. Withdrawals remain open until July 4, after which leftover balances may (but aren’t guaranteed to) be converted to stablecoins on July 5 .
The news hit markets hard: PlayDapp tumbled 19% within an hour, Viberate plunged 34% and Wing Finance slid 25% right after the announcement. Alpaca Finance bucked the trend—after a 20% dip it quickly rebounded, soaring as much as 70%, likely due to traders snatching up the dip or sudden shifts in liquidity. Binance says these removals are part of its routine review process, weighing project development, trading volume, community engagement, team commitment and regulatory compliance. This follows last month’s controversy around AERGO, which crashed 70% on Binance Futures shortly after a spot delisting, fueling manipulation rumors .
