As of April 21, 2025, the company Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, made another large-scale purchase of Bitcoin. A total of 6,556 BTC was purchased for $555 million at an average price of $84,785 per coin. The total volume of the company's Bitcoin reserves now stands at 538,200 BTC, acquired at an average price of $67,766.
This is already the second major purchase in April — earlier, Strategy acquired 3,459 BTC for $285.8 million. Overall, the company owns over 2.5% of the entire Bitcoin issuance, reinforcing its status as the largest corporate holder of this asset.
