As of the date of writing this article, the Pi currency has not been officially listed on the Binance platform, which is one of the largest and most famous cryptocurrency trading platforms in the world. Despite numerous rumors about its imminent listing, no official statements have been issued by Binance or the development team of the Pi project to confirm this matter.
What makes it stand out among other currencies
One of the points that made the Pi Network project stand out among thousands of cryptocurrencies is the ease of mining it. Unlike Bitcoin or Ethereum, which require powerful devices and high electricity, the Pi application allows mining via smartphones only, using a system known as "Proof of Presence" and not the traditional Proof of Work.
In other words, the currency currently exists, and the currencies used by some other platforms are IOUs or future promises of conversion if the main network (Mainnet) is fully launched, which has not yet been done publicly.
