Currently, there are 9 altcoins including SOL, XRP, LTC, ADA, AVAX, APT, SUI, MOVE, TRX, and 4 memecoins including DOGE, TRUMP, BONK, PENGU that have submitted spot ETF applications.
Except for TRX, the teams behind the other altcoin projects are mostly based in the United States or have strong connections to American resources, or belong to the WLFI Portfolio, presenting a 'resource-oriented application pattern'.
