After nearly three weeks of social media silence, Shiba Inuโs lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, has reemerged with a cryptic message that has sparked speculation across the SHIB community. Posting via his official Telegram channel, โShytoshi Portal,โ Kusama shared a brief but intriguing statement: โNext week, letโs go back to it, can we?โ
Lucie, the marketing specialist for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, brought attention to the message by sharing a screenshot on X (formerly Twitter), suggesting that something may be in the works. Her caption questioned whether Kusama is โcookingโ something behind the scenes, hinting at possible upcoming initiatives or announcements.
While Kusama has yet to offer further clarification, community members are actively speculating about his potential return to project development and ecosystem expansion. His reappearance comes after a noticeable absence since March 28.
In addition to the Telegram message, Kusama also posted on X, sharing a link to the debut episode of the Shy Speaks podcast on Spotify. In the 21-minute episode, Kusama, joined by Shiba Inu developer Shadowhunter, introduced the Karma Reputation Systemโan integral component of the forthcoming decentralized operating system, Shib OS. He referred to the episode as the โfirst of many,โ signaling a renewed push in the projectโs communication and development efforts.
