Don't gamble anymore, this is how I survived in the contract market with low leverage
I have experienced liquidation, stayed up all night watching the market, and have been caught in a reverse explosion overnight.
Until I gave up the "get-rich-quick fantasy" and returned to the most fundamental trading logic: $BTC
Low leverage + high discipline = stable profits.
Now, I use a simple but practical model that allows me to achieve stable profits every week, and I sleep soundly, not afraid of market fluctuations.
1. The lower the leverage, the longer the life
I now only use 2-3 times leverage, and sometimes I simply go naked short, no longer thinking about multiplying by 10 times, just aiming to steadily achieve 10% or 20% profits.
It’s not about making money quickly; it’s about not losing and not exploding, that’s how you earn.
2. No predictions, no chasing highs, I only do "the downward structure after a spike"
When a new coin is launched and rises, many people follow to go long, while I focus on:
When does it stop rising? Is there a volume increase? Is there stagnation? Is there a volume decrease? Is there an upper shadow line?
Only after these appear do I consider entering short.
Once I identify a wave, I set my take profit and stop loss; regardless of the fluctuations, I only take the “portion that should be earned.”
3. All positions have a script
Before entering the market, I write down three things:
• What are the trigger conditions? (structure/volume)
• How much to take profit? (generally 20%)
• How much to stop loss? (no more than 15%)
After executing, I rest, do not increase positions, and do not change my mind.
4. I only do certainty, do not rely on inspiration, do not gamble on direction
During this time, I only focus on "the downward wave after the new coin entices buying," not every trade is profitable, but the win rate is stable, and the drawdown is very small.
Sometimes, I only make 1-2 trades a week, but can easily net 5-10%.
5. No longer envious of doubling, I just want to be in the market long-term
Many people immediately ask: How do you multiply by 10 times?
But now I only want to ask: Can you profit continuously for three months?
Contracts are not a one-time deal; they are probability, emotion, and the art of capital management.
A message to my former self who experienced liquidation:
Stop fantasizing about a sudden huge profit,
True experts always win through discipline, not through impulse.
If you are still struggling in contracts, you might as well try my method:
Do less, observe more, low leverage, strict stop loss, stable take profit.
The market will not rise just because you are anxious, but it will harvest you because of your emotional loss of control
