💶 The Ministry of Finance of Slovenia has proposed to introduce a 25% tax on income from the sale of cryptocurrencies — for the first time for citizens not conducting business.
🔍 What exactly are they planning to tax:
• Sale of crypto for fiat (for example, in €)
• Payment for goods and services with cryptocurrency
→ Exchange of crypto for crypto — tax-free
📋 Innovations:
— Annual declaration must be submitted by March 31
— All tokens purchased before 2026 will receive a "zeroed" price (starting from January 1, 2026)
— Central Bank digital currencies, e-money, NFTs, and security tokens are exempt from tax
