MetaPlanet’s Big Move: Is This Asia’s MicroStrategy
Dear readers,
last night I was just checking BTC charts and suddenly saw news that MetaPlanet, a Japanese company, has bought Bitcoin for its treasury! At first, I thought it’s just a small purchase — but then I saw they bought 117 million yen (around $1 million USD) worth of BTC. I was honestly shocked.
Think about it — Japan isn’t really known for taking big risks with crypto, so this move feels huge. It’s giving the same vibes as MicroStrategy when they first started buying Bitcoin. Before, U.S. companies were jumping into BTC, now it looks like Asia is joining too.
I also hold a small amount of BTC — and after seeing this news, I kind of regret not buying more earlier. But I’ve made up my mind now: I’m going to buy more on the next dip, because this looks like just the beginning.
More than 40 public companies already hold BTC as part of their reserves. If Asian companies start doing the same, the next BTC bull run could be even crazier.
