After the recent plummet of the U.S. stock market, Trump publicly called for an immediate interest rate cut, which is also one of his political goals to reduce the government's debt interest expenditures. However, after the rise in 10-year Treasury yields, Trump eased his stance in the trade war, temporarily rescuing the U.S. stock market from crisis.

In any financial market, the importance of confidence is self-evident.
