$SOL The Peruvian sol takes the crown as the strongest currency in Latin America in 2024
The Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP) has confirmed that the Peruvian sol was the most stable currency at the close of last year compared to other currencies in the region. Its low depreciation against the dollar, the country's macroeconomic stability, and a record in the trade balance are key factors in its strengthening.
With a depreciation of only 1.5% against the dollar, the exchange rate of the Peruvian currency closed 2024 at 3.76 soles per dollar, taking the crown as the strongest currency in the region.
