Ada Crow is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges the classical and contemporary, the analog and the algorithmic. Based in Asturias, Spain, Ada incorporates her deep knowledge of art history into each of her works, drawing influences from Surrealism, Dadaism, and Flemish Baroque to create visually striking and conceptually rich works.
Her creative journey spans over a decade of traditional mediums such as professional photography, oil painting, and ballpoint pen drawing, and more recently, digital and AI art.
Since entering the NFT space in 2021, Ada’s work has been exhibited on multiple stages around the world, including participation in HUG’s “100 Photographers to Watch in 2024” feature and exhibitions at venues such as Beeple Studios and NFTNYC.
Her artwork explores existential questions, providing a meditative outlet for exploring the complexities of human emotion, memory, and identity.

Ada’s career has spanned formats and geographies, but she sees AI not as a threat but as a tool to expand her artistic language. In this conversation, we’ll delve into her sources of inspiration, her creative process, and what it means to make art at the intersection of technology and the eternal.
Her new work, “Crow Cinematic,” will debut on OpenSea on April 17, 2025.
OpenSea: The title “Crow Cinematic” is very intriguing, can you explain the meaning behind it?
Ada Crow: I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of capturing moment-to-moment storytelling, and Crow Cinematic plays with that concept – not full-length films, but ephemeral moments with a cinematic rhythm and aesthetic.
OpenSea: Specifically, what inspired the creation of Crow Cinematic? How is it different from your previous works? Can you tell us about your creative process?
Ada Crow: This series was born out of my love of film and television, and my curiosity in reinterpreting classic stories from different perspectives. I often draw inspiration from my own visual culture, and this series marks another step in my artistic evolution.
As for the process, it’s a combination of AI-generated visual foundations and digital editing to perfect them, with a lot of detailed work in Photoshop also required.

OpenSea: Is there a narrative thread to the collection? Should collectors view these works as standalone moments or as scenes in a larger, more fascinating story?
Ada Crow: It’s a little bit of both, each piece stands on its own, but can also be seen as part of a visual culture where everything is connected, with nostalgia and reinterpretation perhaps being the common thread that ties it all together.
OpenSea: How do you imagine people will participate in the collection?
Ada Crow: It depends on the viewer. Some may feel nostalgic, some may find it funny, and some may look at familiar things from a new perspective. Even if they don’t understand the origin of these works, they can appreciate them as visual art. The ultimate goal is to have each work touch the audience’s emotions.
OpenSea: Has blockchain technology influenced the way you approach this art series?
Ada Crow: It has influenced not only the creation itself, but also my thinking about the permanence of art and how it can be disseminated. I like the idea that these works can travel without losing their origins, and that the collector becomes part of that journey. It’s like a movie that never stops.

OpenSea: How do you think about utility and interactivity? Are you interested in things like dynamic NFTs, token-gated experiences, or is art itself a complete expression?
Ada Crow: I like interactivity because it adds something meaningful to the work, but in this case, the art is at the core and these works are meant to be presented in their pure form without any additional elements. Even so, I will not leave the door open to exploring other possibilities in the future.
OpenSea: How has being part of the NFT community influenced your work, either through collaboration, feedback loops, or just immersion in the culture?
Ada Crow: It’s been a revolution. I’ve gone from a world where digital art was still a niche field to a world with a global community eager to explore, discuss and collect. Such an environment inspires you to keep improving and be fearless to try.
OpenSea: How do you hope that “Crow Cinematic” will show your evolution as a Web3 artist? What should collectors expect from the world you build next?
Ada Crow: I hope it captures my dedication to visual storytelling and reinterpretation, and I want collectors to know that this is not the final chapter, but part of my ongoing journey, and I will continue to explore new ways to tell stories...even if it's just for a few seconds.
