In a market with high volatility, I usually use the stop loss tool available at brokerages, especially when I won't be able to stay connected to the brokerage. For BTC and large altcoins, I use a margin of less than 2.5 for the limit (order trigger) and less than 0.5 for the stop. For memes like DOGE and PEPE, which I sometimes buy (I only allocate 15% of my capital to them), I use less than -5 and -0.5. I have used higher percentages before, but in today's market, I am much more conservative regarding losses
