Crypto fam, it’s time to stay extra sharp. The bad actors are back — and this time, they’re targeting you through fake SMS messages pretending to be from Binance.

We’ve seen a rise in spoofed text alerts claiming things like “Your Binance email has been changed” or “A withdrawal has been made.” They include a phone number urging you to call immediately if the action wasn’t you. Sounds urgent, right? But here's the truth:

‼️ Binance will NEVER ask you to call a number.

These scammers are masters of manipulation. Their goal? To make you panic, call the number, and then trick you into giving away sensitive data — like your account credentials, 2FA codes, or seed phrases.

Here’s What You Need to Know:

Binance will only contact you via verified channels.

We will never include phone numbers in SMS messages.

All legitimate communication can be found directly in your Binance app or official email.

Never share login credentials or codes with anyone.

How to Stay Safe:

Enable 2FA (preferably via Authenticator app, not SMS).

Double-check sender info before acting on any message.

Ignore calls or texts asking you to “confirm” personal info or account details.

Report suspicious messages to Binance Support.

Crypto is the future — but only if we keep it secure.

Let’s work together to protect our community from scams and raise awareness. Share this with your fellow traders and stay safe.
