Chairman of the New York Fed: Tariffs could push US inflation up to 3.5% – 4% this year

Fed's John Williams warns that tariff uncertainties could push US inflation up to 3.5% – 4% in 2025, and even extend into 2026.

He also reiterated the Fed's commitment to do everything possible to bring inflation back to the target of 2%.
