📋 Part 2: Crypto Beginner Checklist – What Should Newcomers Learn First?
– My friend, after understanding “what crypto is,” the next question is:
“Now… what should I learn next to avoid getting wrecked?” 😅
I used to struggle like that. And here is a heartfelt checklist, based on my own experience – for newcomers.
🔍 1. Know how to DYOR (Do Your Own Research)
– Learn how to research a coin:
Visit CoinMarketCap/CoinGecko
Check tokenomics, roadmap, team, community
Is there a big backer? Which exchange lists it? How is the liquidity?
– Don’t trust anyone 100%, even KOLs.
DYOR – because the money is yours, and the losses are yours to bear 😤
🧭 2. Get familiar with necessary tools
– Use TradingView to view charts
– Know how to read timeframes (1h, 4h, daily)
– Get acquainted with a few basic indicators: RSI, MACD, volume
– You don’t need to be great at TA, but you must know how to spot trends, support – resistance.
🛠️ 3. Understand how the market operates
– Know which coins are trending, which are junk
– Understand the cycles: up – distribution – down – accumulation
– When you see others making money → ask “why,” don’t just think “I’ll jump in too” 🤦
🧊 4. Equip yourself with the right mindset
– The market doesn’t care if you win; it just operates on its own logic
– Don’t think trading is a quick way to get rich
– Slow – steady – survive → is still better than burning out early and going out of the game 🪦
📓 5. Keep a record of your learning journey
– For each trade → write down the reason for entering, the result, and lessons learned
– Learn one new thing each day → note it down
– Crypto changes very fast, remembering is a big advantage
– My friend, learning to trade is no different from learning martial arts:
“To deliver a strong strike, you must first learn to stand firm.”
