A Russian robotics company is offering $200,000 to one person willing to give up the rights to their face and voice for use in developing humanlike robots.
Known for creating hyper-realistic androids, the company Promobot made waves back in 2019 with the launch of the “Android Robo-C”—a customizable robot that can be designed to look like anyone.
“Now anyone can order a robot with any appearance—for personal or professional use,” said Aleksei Iuzhakov, Chairman of the Board at Promobot, during the original announcement.
