Changpeng Zhao (CZ), founder of Binance, has been appointed strategic adviser to the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC). The move, hailed as a "landmark moment" by Finance Minister Aurangzeb, aims to position Pakistan as a Web3 leader.
CZ praised Pakistan’s potential with its 240 million population—60% under 30. He’ll guide on crypto regulation, infrastructure, and adoption.
The PCC includes top officials from SECP, SBP, Law, and IT ministries. PCC CEO Bilal Bin Saqib said CZ's appointment signals Pakistan’s readiness to embrace the future of finance. The country already ranks in the global top 10 for crypto adoption.
