Opino que USA es "la tierra de en medio". En la China antigua, según he visto en un documental, se veían como "la tierra de en medio" y así lo estudian en las escuelas. ¿Qué significa esto de ser la tierra de en medio? Se refiere a el centro que posiblemente tiene a la misma distancia todos los otros lugares. Si habláramos de un volumen, diríamos "centro de gravedad", que tiene los diferentes pesos distribuidos de manera equitativa en las diferentes direcciones, Pesos, no volúmenes. El cuerpo humano también tiene un centro de gravedad. Opino que USA es "la tierra de en medio" porque tiene una costa en el Pacífico y otra en el Atlántico. Rusia es un actor singular, tiene peso, tiene también tamaño, aunque no tiene mucha población si lo comparamos con otros actores. EU no tiene costa en el Pacífico; tiene Mediterráneo y Rusia. No me explayo.

Reflexiones sobre el estado de la situación. La atención mediática está puesta sobre la economía. En este moméntum el énfasis está puesto en la política arancelaria. Esto repercute directamente en las empresas y consumidores. El comportamiento del consumidor es apasionante, por convenio se dice que es lógico y que premia el mejor precio, pero también hay factores instintivos, adictivos, impulsivos, irracionales, comprometidos, a favor o en contra. En economía se simplifican mucho las cosas, en el caso de los tipos de bienes tenemos por un lado los llamados "de primera necesidad" y necesarios, por otro lado llamamos bienes de lujo a los que no son necesarios o vitales y los bienes libres son aquellos que no se pueden meter en una cajita (los libres se caracterizan por ser abundantes y no comercializarse). Luego se añade otro factor que tiene que ver con la posibilidad de sustituir un bien por otro, la leche de vaca es un bien de primera necesidad, pero ahora se puede plantear una sustitución por leches vegetales. Otro ejemplo interesante es el café, porque no tiene realmente un sustitutivo, si se encareciera mucho obviamente la gente tomaría té. Son ejemplos precipitados y simplistas, no son buenos ejemplos pero los pongo para ver que me sale del magín, para pensar. Excede el propósito de esta reflexión ahondar sobre el comercio. Nos organizábamos por países, ahora por bloques, en cada bloque hay un marco legal. Los llamados países desarrollados fabrican a precios más elevados y se incluyen un puñado de costos que tienen que ver con pólizas de seguro, riesgos laborales, hacienda pública que son los que garantizan el marco legal, el precio del metro cuadrado del establecimiento, el precio del aparcamiento, el precio de la gestión de basuras y externalidades (se quiere incluir ahora lo del CO2), etcétera. Los países desarrollados terminan con un precio alto por añadir costos que a su vez generan industrias indirectas. Elón Mask comentaba que le gustaría un acuerdo entre EU y US, no es un disparate, aunque no son idénticos.
