Imports and exports in general between Libya 🇱🇾 and the USA are almost negligible except for a small percentage. Since the days of the monarchy, Libya has relied on imports from Europe, Arab countries, and China.

The Arab countries that are subject to countervailing duties from the United States vary in their rates, with Syria leading the list at 41%, followed by Iraq at 39%, and then Libya at 31%. Algeria comes with a rate of 30%, while a 28% duty is imposed on Tunisia, and 20% on Jordan.

As for the other Arab countries, such as Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Sudan, Yemen, Lebanon, Djibouti, Oman, Bahrain, and Morocco, they all fall under a unified rate of 10%.
