AS USUAL when making one of his speeches, Keir Starmer appears behind a slogan-bearing lectern.
Yesterday, whilst attempting to show he is addressing the matter of soaring illegal immigration, the
lectern bore the tired slogan “Securing Our Borders” .
I can’thelp feeling a more
appropriate slogan would have been “Borders,What Borders?” .
Still, at least he claims to be
angry over illegal immigration – if only he sounded as if he is, then perhaps I’dbe more convinced.
It appears gang smashing in
