In response to the devastating earthquake that recently struck Myanmar ๐, Binance Charity along with co-founder and former CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ) ๐ค will launch $1.5 million ๐ธ in assistance in the form of BNB for Binance users & Binance TH living in the affected areas in Myanmar and Thailand! ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น๐ญ
To determine who is eligible for assistance, Binance will check the KYC (identity verification) ๐ or POA (proof of address) ๐ data that users have submitted. Now, if you have completed KYC or POA before March 31, 2025 ๐๏ธ, you will receive a BNB voucher directly in your Reward Hub ๐, according to the data you entered!
The details of the assistance are as follows:
For Myanmar:
- $5 in BNB for all users who have completed KYC and are active โ
- $50 in BNB for users who have completed KYC and POA in the most affected areas ๐จ
For Thailand (specifically for Binance TH users by Gulf Binance):
- $5 in BNB for Gulf Binance users who have completed KYC with a residential address ๐
- $10 in BNB for Gulf Binance users whose residential address is in the most affected area โ ๏ธ
The target is that all assistance will be received by the latest on April 14, 2025 ๐
CZ will contribute 500 BNB each for Myanmar and Thailand โค๏ธโ๐ฅ, together with Binance Charity, to help those severely affected.
