🚨 Tron is back in action — but not in a good way for your wallet! 💸
TRON was once a salvation from the outrageous fees on Ethereum 🤯 — remember those times when a single ETH transaction would cost $100 or more? Back then, Tron came onto the scene as a hero — cheap, fast, convenient 🦸♂️.
But times are changing... and now the fee for sending USDT on the TRC-20 network to new wallets is up to 27 TRX 😬 That's almost $6.2 per transfer, Carl! 😱
So, has Tron become what it once fought against? 🤷♂️ The infrastructure remains, users' habits too, but the price of this "habit" is now biting 🐍
🤔 It's curious why people still use TRON when there are cheaper and more convenient alternatives? Here are a couple of examples as of today:
✅ Arbitrum One (ETH L2) — fee $0.01–$0.10
✅ Polygon (MATIC) — $0.01–$0.05
✅ Solana — just pennies: ~$0.00025
✅ TON — from $0.001 to $0.02
✅ BNB Chain (BEP-20) — about $0.10
💡 Conclusion: habits are powerful, but overpaying $6 for something that can be done for $0.01 sounds like a bug, not a feature 😅
Are you still on TRON? Or have you migrated to something smarter? 😉
