I promised daily updates, but the weather hasn't been on my side lately. The temperature has been rising, and I had a relative pass away, so I went home to pay my respects. I owe several days of updates.
Opening the software, these past few days, it can be said that air tokens have been in a dire situation! They've plummeted!
To take care of the new friends, I will still mention what I am doing. Old friends, just skip to the end to see the data!
To cope with various shortcomings of human nature, I recently created an index similar to BTC's greed and fear index. As an ordinary investor navigating the air token market, controlling emotions and avoiding getting overly excited is fundamental to not being liquidated. The principle remains the same: with a position in place, buy low and sell high—'When others are fearful, I am greedy' is a saying everyone understands, but executing it is often more difficult than climbing to the sky.
Some explanations regarding the greed and fear index to be used:
Multi-dimensional validation: It is recommended to observe both the daily (short-term) and weekly (medium to long-term) index trends simultaneously to avoid being misled by volatile market conditions.
Cross-validation: It can be combined with indicators such as on-chain fund flows and exchange holdings. When multiple signals resonate, the win rate is higher.
Dynamic adjustment: Different market stages require modification of thresholds. For example, in a bear market, the 'buy signal' can be adjusted from 25 down to 20, and in a bull market, the opposite operation.
It should be noted that this index is not a universal key. It is merely an auxiliary tool; real decision-making still needs to consider the fundamentals of the coins. If you want to try using it, it is recommended to backtest with historical data to find the operating points that suit you.
The following is the calculation result of the greed and fear index. Current or future big players can use their own feelings to judge right or wrong. I will try to update daily~ (I've been unable to keep this promise recently 🤐, planning to open the tool directly to everyone, still organizing it late at night)
