The Solana currency, favored by meme coin issuers, rose by up to 11%, while Dogecoin recorded an increase of about 8%, and Avalanche increased by approximately 8%.
As for Bitcoin, it climbed by 4.3% to reach $88,786, its highest level in about two weeks. Typically, alternative cryptocurrencies achieve greater gains than Bitcoin during periods of risk appetite, but they are also more susceptible to sharp volatility and losses during downturns.
