In a post on platform X on March 21, Armstrong stated that he could "confirm the arrest warrant issued against me" was due to him sending an email to Judge Kimberly Childs of the Cobb County Superior Court in Georgia while acting as his own lawyer. He also claimed that as a result of these emails, Judge Childs deleted her social media accounts.

Armstrong was previously arrested in September 2023 for live-streaming outside the home of a former business partner, during which he accused the partner of withholding his Lamborghini.
