The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has launched the "Crypto 2.0" working group, aimed at establishing a comprehensive and transparent regulatory framework for crypto assets. Announced on January 21, 2025 by its acting chairman, Mark T. Uyeda, this initiative is led by Commissioner Hester Peirce, with Richard Gabbert and Taylor Asher respectively serving as chief of staff.
