Thousands of people protested in Turkey against the arrest of Istanbul's mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. In Ankara, Istanbul, and other cities, demonstrators called for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to resign, accusing him of trying to eliminate his biggest rival through the arrest.
