Best time: Before the Eid al-Fitr prayer.

Permissible time: It can be paid at any time during Ramadan, but it is preferable to give it in the last days of Ramadan so that the deserving can prepare for Eid.

Disliked but permissible: If someone pays Fitrana after the Eid prayer, it will be counted as regular charity, but it will still be fulfilled.

Forbidden time: If someone delays it to the extent that the day of Eid passes and pays afterwards, it is obligatory for them to pay it as soon as possible, as it is a duty and delaying without a valid excuse is not correct.

Therefore, paying Fitrana on time is more beneficial so that those in need can take advantage of it during Eid.
