$BNB Pakistan Crypto Council Explores Bitcoin Mining with Runoff Energy

At its inaugural meeting on March 21, the Pakistan Crypto Council, led by CEO Bilal Bin Saqib, proposed utilizing the country's runoff energy for Bitcoin mining.

According to The Nation, the council is developing regulatory frameworks for cryptocurrencies to attract foreign investment and position Pakistan as a crypto hub.

The meeting was attended by lawmakers, the governor of the Bank of Pakistan, the chairman of Pakistan's Securities and Exchange Commission (SECP), and the federal information technology secretary. Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb stated, "This marks the beginning of a new digital chapter for our economy. We aim to create a transparent, future-ready financial ecosystem that attracts investment, empowers our youth, and establishes Pakistan as a global leader in emerging technologies
