The Japanese company "Metaplanet" appoints "Eric Trump" to its strategic advisory board
The Japanese investment firm "Metaplanet" announced the appointment of "Eric Trump," the son of U.S. President "Donald Trump," as the first member of its strategic advisory board, aimed at promoting the adoption of Bitcoin and solidifying its position in the cryptocurrency sector.
CEO "Simon Jerovic" welcomed "Trump" to the team, noting his experience in real estate, finance, and brand development, along with his increasing support for digital assets.
"Metaplanet" continues to expand its Bitcoin reserves, targeting ownership of 10,000 Bitcoins by the end of 2025 and 21,000 Bitcoins by the end of 2026, through stock and bond issuances.
Recently, the company purchased 1288 Bitcoins in 2025, raising its holdings to 3200 Bitcoins.
