Having been in the crypto space for nearly 10 years, I have made profits and suffered losses. I have engaged in ICOs, meme coins, mining, etc., and experienced three bull and bear cycles. After summarizing countless operations, I found that there is only one reliable way to make money. That is simple and straightforward, something everyone understands.
Buy in a bear market, sell in a bull market, guaranteed profit.
A bull market generally lasts for 6 months to 1 year, while a bear market typically lasts for 1 to 2 years. A full bull-bear cycle lasts 3 to 4 years. Seize the opportunity to earn at least 50%+ in each bull market, which is enough to outperform various financial products, stocks, and funds. This 50%+ profit is guaranteed, with no suspense.
Only lay the groundwork in a bear market.
You must be patient and try to lay the groundwork at the bottom of a bear market (although it is impossible to buy at the true bottom). A simple way to judge the condition of a bear market bottom is when no one is paying attention to Bitcoin, and the crypto space feels lifeless. You can intermittently buy during this period, which may last for a year or even longer.
Only buy mainstream coins.
BTC and ETH are always the kings of the crypto market; buying in a bear market is absolutely correct. Although they may not multiply significantly, buying in a bear market and holding until selling in a bull market guarantees a rise of over 50%. They are the first choice for large funds.
Always heavily invest in mainstream coins, never heavily invest in altcoins. The logic of altcoins is to take advantage of investors; every bull market will produce many types of altcoins. Altcoins that are prospering in this bull market may fall silent in the next one, overshadowed by new altcoins. Without internal channels and information, it is almost impossible to pick an altcoin before it explodes. Generally, people only realize there is such a coin after seeing it surge, and by then, it's already too late to follow in. Perhaps if they follow at that time, the coin may continue to rise, but it is more likely to fluctuate downwards. Altcoins are too volatile; most people cannot hold on regardless of whether they rise or fall. Often, they make a small profit but incur a significant loss. In the end, it’s all a loss.
Sell in the mid-bull market, and do not operate further.
In the early stages of a bull market, BTC will slowly rise, leading ETH upwards. At this time, some good mainstream coins will follow suit, while other coins will rise slowly, and only a few altcoins will soar, with most altcoins remaining quiet.
Do not gamble on luck during a bull market.
There are many opportunities in a bull market, especially in the later stages when altcoins are flying around, and many altcoins surge multiple times, making people envious. This can lead to impatience and impulsive decisions to heavily invest in certain promising but yet to explode altcoins, with high confidence waiting for them to soar. This mindset is best avoided; it is nothing more than gambling, completely unrelated to investing.
The principal is always the most important.
If you accidentally get trapped due to poor operations, preserving the principal as much as possible is the most important thing. During a crash in the crypto market, be willing to cut losses and stop losses in a timely manner to preserve most of your principal and maintain a base. There is still hope for a comeback. Be patient and wait for the crypto market to fall into despair before using the remaining principal to buy the dip. Don't get trapped and accompany the crypto market in crashing; often, selling a trapped coin before a market crash results in a maximum loss of 50% of the principal. If you ignore it and let it fall, holding on to the end, when the coin hits the bottom of the market, there will be almost no chance of recovering the remaining principal.
