The Pakistani government is thinking about using extra electricity for Bitcoin mining instead of wasting it. The Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) is talking with officials to set special electricity rates for crypto mining. The idea is to turn unused power into something useful that can help the country’s economy. The government is also working on a new law called the Virtual Assets Bill 2025 to make cryptocurrency legal and safe.

Other countries have different rules for Bitcoin mining. China has banned it, while Iran allows it but stops it during high electricity use. Kazakhstan welcomed it but later added high taxes. El Salvador is using energy from volcanoes to mine Bitcoin. Pakistan wants to use its extra electricity wisely and grow in the digital world. If this plan works, it could make Pakistan an important place for cryptocurrency.
