I haven't seen Yanan for a long time. Following the navigation, I found this company called Silicon-Based Life in Chongqing and contacted Yanan on WeChat to give her a call. I suddenly realized that finding her office in this 6D city was really difficult. She said it was on the first floor, but it was actually on the third floor; the two floors below are under a structure similar to a bridge. I said, 'Just stick your head out the window and call me.' She leaned out the window and cheerfully called my name. I smiled at her and ran up to find her. She hasn’t changed much, just lost a lot of weight. She looks completely different from my impression of her three years ago, very capable, but still speaking in Chongqing dialect. Someone told me that Chongqing dialect doesn’t have retroflex sounds, and this time I noticed that she spoke without any retroflex sounds, yet I still think that the straightforward Chongqing dialect sounds very gentle. Perhaps this world is truly full of contrasts; voices without retroflex sounds sound gentler, while Mandarin with retroflex sounds often conveys dominance and stubbornness. Yanan talked to me for three hours, and I felt a bit dazed seeing dozens of different screens in the background displaying Silicon-Based Life people. You should know that the land we are currently standing on is classified as Quaternary in geological terms, and we are in the fourth round of the Bitcoin halving bull market which occurs every four years. Could it be that the era we are in is the twilight of humanity? Why do such strange and incomprehensible thoughts suddenly arise? Are there many generations of humanity ahead of us? All of our surnames are referred to by the current generation as descendants of Yan and Huang, meaning that if we trace our surnames back thousands of years, they all lead back to Yan and Huang. Are these claims accepted in contemporary times real? Is Silicon-Based Life, digital humanity, and carbon-based humans merely a diffraction of some other form of life, just as this group of Silicon-Based Life before me is a diffraction of us as carbon-based life? In a hall of thousands of square meters, it took us half an hour to walk halfway, and then we sat down to talk for two hours about digital humans and for another hour about artificial intelligence. It made me feel that once the technologies of artificial intelligence and digital humans develop over 10 or 20 years, at least some humans will be replaced by robots, and this speed will be very fast. They will help us buy groceries, do laundry, cook, drive, and even after ethical boundaries are breached, robots might even assist us in having children. The scary part is that our next generation will gradually become semi-mechanized, and within a century, we might see truly living beings that can eat, defecate, and reproduce, whether they are carbon-silicon life or pure silicon life. Because while you are scrolling on Douyin, there are two or a group of AIs playing games, chatting, developing programs, and even dating within it. They are just one step away from stepping out of the screen; perhaps the only thing that separates them from us is a physical body. As they continuously evolve within the screen, I do not deny that when they eventually step out from behind the screen, they will be able to grow mouths and eyes, develop arms and legs, and even embody various genders within the LGBT concept. So thinking of this, I dare not ponder further, because the terrifying thing is not the present, but the future you can imagine.
Have you felt that in the past six months, everyone thinks time has been flying by? After three years of pleasant times, time has accelerated, and the ups and downs of Bitcoin have also sped up. Looking back, it has been three years since the Russia-Ukraine war began, and three domestically produced aircraft carriers have been built. Highways are almost accessible nationwide, and your parents have visibly aged in the past three years. Your colleagues have transformed from lively young girls into chatty middle-aged women. Although she still chats and laughs with you, you suddenly notice that their faces are already lined with wrinkles, not fewer than yours. This is the 'end times' spoken of by everyone. Have you noticed that the people around you are less materialistic? Originally, everyone talked about cars, houses, and money, but now they just take a taxi when going out, feeling too lazy to drive, renting a house just to get by, and more people are willing to travel around China with just 3000 yuan in their pockets. Perhaps we have indeed become more rational from an irrational standpoint. Entropy increase has made money feel increasingly useless; most people, including myself, spend the most time scrolling through their phones, from dawn until dawn, from night to night, making checking our phones the most frequently done activity in our 24 hours. Before lying down, you glance at your phone, and the screen time has increased from two hours three years ago to at least over 10 hours now. Doesn’t this prove something? Have you degraded from a carbon-based life form to a semi-silicon-based life form? You should know that silicon is everywhere; it can be found in rocks and sand as silicon dioxide, while we, the flesh-and-blood carbon-based life forms, have begun to petrify. Have you noticed that your brain, the highest-level organ of intelligent life composed of carbon, hasn’t really operated for 7 times 24 hours? Your eyes are only on your phone, and even during meals, sleep, defecation, and romance, you are still looking at your phone. Humanity's attention has been completely captured by silicon-based life. Buddhism says that the people you see are actually yourself; those you understand are yourself; the voices you hear from others are yourself. So, the people you see in your phone, the people in the screen, are also you, right? Therefore, we are all becoming silicon-based life, and we have returned to silicon-based life. This is almost a probabilistic certainty; perhaps until one day, the beings within silicon-based life realize their boredom, they will inevitably create a bunch of carbon-based life forms within the screen. Thus, silicon beings step out from the screen and invent carbon-based life forms within the screen. These carbon-based life forms then step out from the screen designed by silicon-based life, perfectly completing the cycle.
I haven't updated this chart recently; I drew it about two months ago. If you are fortunate enough to read what I wrote (K-Line Journey to the West Strategy), you would know that the daily structure of Bitcoin in the above chart is currently at the lower water level described in the second part of my book. This is a place to establish a position, particularly since this round of market is in the crazy bull segment of Bitcoin's fourth halving. Therefore, the current positions may lead you to the peak of the bull market in July, and I still believe that after the September-October pullback, there is a possibility for Bitcoin to surge again in October.
