Ethena Labs and Securitize have unveiled the upcoming launch of Converge

#EthenaLabs and #Securitize have announced the upcoming launch of #Converge , a purpose-built #EVM blockchain aimed at advancing #DeFi and tokenized assets. Beyond retail-focused DeFi apps, Converge will offer partner-developed solutions tailored for institutions, ensuring compliant access to DeFi’s innovation and capital efficiency. Ethena will focus its institutional products on Converge and seek to migrate its DeFi ecosystem, while Securitize will issue tokenized assets on Converge and enhance interoperability across its integrations.

Moreover, Ethena’s native governance token, $ENA, will serve as a stakeable asset for Converge through a permissioned validator set of traditional finance entities and centralized exchanges. $USDe and $USDtb, a stablecoin co-developed by Ethena and Securitize, will function as gas tokens for the network.
