Canada, which is chairing the "G7", invited Zelensky to attend the next meeting of the club.
"President Zelensky was invited to the G7 meeting in June."
The G7 countries meeting will take place in Alberta province in western Canada from June 15-17 this year.
"The G7" threatened to strengthen sanctions against the aggressor country Russia if agreements on a ceasefire in Ukraine are not reached.
