When will Ethereum take off, is there still hope? I actually think Ethereum has not changed all along; what has changed is Bitcoin. People are dissatisfied with ETH's performance, but the benchmarks are Bitcoin and Solana, and the consensus around Bitcoin is that no other asset can be compared to it. As for Solana, it is a high-speed incubator, continuously hatching one meme coin after another, constantly creating wealth legends. Even Trump has issued coins on Solana. Bitcoin is undoubtedly the king. However, I don't think SOOL is better than ETHH. Issuing coins on the Solana chain is merely based on the low cost, cheapness, and speed of SOOL, attracting a lot of speculators with some meme-like air coins. But ETH has a recognized security that far exceeds Solana’s strategies. For important projects, security is the primary concern, followed by cost and speed. Therefore, high-quality NFTs and major projects are basically developed in the Ethereum ecosystem. So when will the B price take off? Actually, there’s no need to rush; what’s meant to come will come. The lack of new highs in ETH indicates that the real bull market hasn’t arrived yet. Besides the known benefits of the upgrade in March, there’s also a major benefit brewing: the staking ETF for Ethereum. Once this is approved, it will be an income-generating ETF.
Really, the ETF for Ethereum back then was equivalent to having a house now. If you have enough ETH, you only need to collect rent to meet your daily expenses, which Bitcoin cannot provide. At that time, issuers like ETFs might heavily promote Ethereum. If the ETH staking sector gets approved, more ETH will be locked up, forming a positive spiral of rising prices.
